On Sunday, October 6th 2008 several Weenig cousins met at Diane Weenig Thompson's home to discuss our goals of family history. This was our second gathering of this kind. Our main goal is for each family to take a line of the Weenig family pedigree and to research it. The ultimate end is to complete the temple work for those who need it. A secondary goal is to share stories of our ancestors and therefore making our own connections--seeing how their stories can inspire our own lives.
